The Touch,
Long listed for the national Open Art Prize for video work is an animated video-loop depicting in abstract form the constant assurance of hope amidst an endless cycle of collapse and restoration. The result of a collaboration with my philosophic friend Peter Welman.
Entangled
This is a video version of a series of paintings and an interactive work that are all based on the theme of an abstract landscape, trees and birds.
The Siren's Cry
This is the full length version of the limited edition video that was selected for the first Lumen Prize world tour in 2012. The watermark is removed on purchase.
They Live Below Ground Now
In 'They Live Below Ground Now' I explore a post-apocalyptic wasteland of ghostly buildings and giant cockroaches which are surveyed periodically from underground by slowly rotating periscopes. This is the video version of a limited edition interactive app.
The sound track is made almost entirely from manipulated samples of T.S.Eliot reading his poem 'The Wasteland'.
'They Live Below Ground Now' was shortlisted for the global Lumen Prize in 2014.
The River of Memories
This is a much shortened clip from my interactive moving painting app 'The River of Memories'.
Mamon and the Urban Terrorists
This is a selection of scenes from an interactive artwork that was short-listed for the Ironstone Art Prize in 2016. The work highlights the contrast by the threat of violence and excess in today's consumer, money driven society
